SEMO opens favored by 6 1/2 with a total of 72 1/2. If our pass defense shows up we should be fine. Hess should have a big day running the ball. Go Redhawks

Rushing 3 guys over and over again isn't the best strategy against a good QB. When we blitz we have been a lot more effective but not doing it enough.
Offense just hasn't gotten it together and stalling inside the 10 too many times

RE: E. KENTUCY
We have to have the worst pass defense in the history of football. Receivers were WIDE open the entire game and that's just rushing 3 men most of the time. Then our red zone offense continues to be bad. Way too many field goals. Did they make a rule that when we get inside the 10 yard line that we can't run the ball.

On top of all that we are minus 3 in the T/O battle and have a TD called back and still only lose by 5. Did anyone else feel like me that we were still going to march down the field and score the winning td at the end of the game?

RE: E. KENTUCY
I anticipated a last minute TD score just like the SIU game. Red Zone TD % has been an issue for quite a few weeks. Poor pass defense and a few TDs instead of FGs, (along with the called back Flournoy TD) and this game would have been a double digit win.

Credit to EKU. They made half time adjustments and came out strong. Better to have this loss to a solid team than lose one of our remaining OVC games
