Under the previous staff, it was hard for them to recruit FBS anything. We were constantly in competition for a player with Central Arkansas and the like. Coach Wommack made a promise to sign 5 players from Mobile every year. Our current class I think is up to 5 players and all from Alabama and several are from Mobile.

UCLA calls themselves Transfer U. You think they'd have trouble recruiting high schoolers? All depends on what your needs are.

I get needing to fill gaps. GS has had some luck with transfers over the years. I'm just a little wary of the story. Culturally, commitment isn't really high priority anywhere and in college sports coaches and AD's leave so why not the players? Looks like Womack is got it going on. Looking forward to next week.
