These guys don't even bother to look at bowl tie-ins for G5's.

SBC has 5 basically guaranteed with ESPN selecting 1st, 3rd, and 4th for 3 of Camellia, Cure, Boca Raton, Frisco, Myrtle Beach.

New Orleans gets 2nd Pick and Lending Tree gets 5th pick.

SBC has affiliation to fill in if needed with Idaho and New Mexico.

Too much football left to play, but media has to have click bait. I don't worry about being left out because we travel well. I think Louisiana, App, Marshall travel well wherever. Not sure how well Troy travels past 400 miles. Not sure about Coastal, USM or USA travelers.

I thought that got dropped after the SBC created their divisions & signed the new bowl deal for 2020-2025.

I believe it just the picking order,

1. ESPN Bowl
2. NOLA
3. ESPN Bowl
4. ESPN Bowl
5. LendingTree Bowl
6.?????, does anyone even know who our 6th tie-in is?

Not sure camellia bowl would go for Troy first choice. Close enough we won’t need hotels but we would sell it out.

I’d be ok with playing ECU, UCF, UAB or Liberty in a bowl, no thanks to MTSU, already whooped them in a bowl. Surprisingly we aren’t matched up with any MAC teams for a bowl. But for now, just hoping we get bowl eligible. Still need 2 wins out of ODU, Marshall, Coastal and Georgia Southern. If we play our best game, we could go 4-0 or 3-1, but we’ve played bad enough to go 0-4.

This would be fun. Last time Marshall was in Mobile (2002) they brought a ton of fans. And that 2001 GMAC Bowl was awesome. I was there. Just an unbelievable game
