#14 NU hosted #19 UMass-Lowell at Matthews Arena and dropped this one 3-2.

Freshman goalie Grant Riley made his first collegiate start for Devon Levi who sat this one out with an illness.

Justin Hryckowian and Jayden Struble scored for NU but they couldn’t get the equalizer in the 3rd period.

The Huskies hit the road for the first time this season as they visit Maine for a pair of games next weekend Oct. 28-29.
