I was saying that to myself too, because you are correct. But in that situation, with 10 seconds left, he was going for the scoop and score and it could have worked. I don’t necessarily hate it in context of where the game was. ULM might have had a chance at a couple passes if they fall on the ball, but does that have a higher percentage of working or grabbing the ball and running it in when the normal Army defense isn’t on the field?

It’s a judgment call. Easy for me to say when a) I can see exactly how much time is left and b) I’m not on the field doing the work. From a distance I think it’s still better to fall on the ball even if the only benefit is that you’ve eliminated whatever chance Army has to score before halftime, but I also see your point and can’t argue too hard against it. In the end, null impact, play on.

Looks like this is about to get ugly.

I'm not saying this game is over but I saw a fat lady in corner of the end zone warming up her vocal chords.

ULM is not playing with the same energy they had when they played South Alabama and Coastal.

Personally I think our coaches have completely zapped the energy of our players in this one.

Coastal 38 - Army 28
Georgia State 31 - Army 14
Army 48 - ULM 24
Army @ Troy TBD
