I realize that our schedule is a tough one and that we play most of our games on the road, which isn't fair to the players, and that the lack of a conference home has to be discouraging. Still, I had hoped that our volleyball team would do a little better this season than it has. We have four key seniors that we presumably will be losing after this season (although who knows these days), and I had hoped that we would have another good season to build on last year's record performance.

But, the season isn't over yet, so maybe we will have a good stretch run. And we should have several outstanding players coming back for next season.

I am watching the video of our win over Oakland on Youtube, and we looked pretty good in that one.

As things stand right now (15 Oct), of the top 8 players in terms of sets played, the only one we should lose is Jaclyn Inclan, which will be a hit, because she has been a good one. Feliz is already a star, and I don't think that Almeya has reached her potential yet. And I think Barnes and Lee could be really special. Next year's team could be really good, so we need to close strong.

Another tough road loss, at West Virginia. But they are a Big 12 school, and we did play them close all three sets.
