Being as unknowledgeable as I can sometimes be, why are we not playing them this year considering the contraction of FB schools in the OVC this year? I realize the agreement with Southland Conference filled out the schedule, but we're also playing ASUN EKU. Every OVC school only plays five conference games, eh?

I read (back in May) that they decided to keep the Southland games rather than make the Southland teams scramble to fill those dates.

So, I guess it was less a strategic decision and more of a not wanting to upset the Southland decision.

What I'm wondering is how next year's agreement with the Big South will play out. That's 8 conference games each, assuming it's Bryant, Robert Morris and Charleston Southern from the Big South.

This is a great question, that I was wondering about as well. One other thought on this doesn't Murray switch next though to the MVC rather than play an OVC schedule?
