#8 NU was back on the ice to host Vermont for a weekend set, the the Huskies got the 5-2 win.
After trailing 1-0 after the 1st period, NU scored 3 unanswered goals and never looked back.
The Huskies are back at Mathews Arena tomorrow night for game two of their weekend series with the Catamounts.

NU completes the two-game sweep of UVM with a 5-0 shutout at Matthews Arena.
Aiden McDonough and Justin Hryckowian scored 2 goals each in win.
The Huskies continue their home stint next Saturday, Oct. 15 as they host Providence at 7:30 p.m.

#16 NU was back on the ice tonight at Vermont, and NU behind 42 saves from Devon Levi, won 3-0. The win moves NU back into first place in Hockey East, 1 point ahead of BU.
The shutout was the 5th this year for Levi. And his second vs. UVM.
NU got a 1st period goal from Riley Hughes, a 2nd period goal from Matt Choupani and an empty-netter from Cam Lund in the 3rd.
Next weekend NU has a home-and-home with UMass.
