Let's be honest here. I would be very surprised if Coach Creighton were to take any job opening in CUSA or Sun Belt. To me they would be a parallel move, and unless they were paying more than a million a year, why move? Probably the same with the AAC.
I think the only way Creighton leaves is a job in the P5.

CUSA and Sun Belt - i agree. but the AAC is very much a step up. Cincinnati in particular spooks me.

Ken, there are schools in Conference USA and the Sun Belt paying their coaches 1 million per.

He seems like a great fit for Cincy.

That’s a really good job for anyone who could recruit worth a damn.

Not sure he ever was really in danger but NIU announced Thomas Hammock will remain HC.

Georgia Tech is expected to hire Tulane HC Willie Fritz.

Me too! His two "dream jobs" in my mind were OSU and ND. Ryan Day will NOT survive another loss to U-M and Freeman had a less than stellar year in South Bend. I expected him to tread water in Cincy for another year as a result.

His embrace of Ben Bryant and this move to Wisconsin, however, indicates that the cupboard may be going bare in southern Ohio.

As a low-key Tulane fan, this is quite sad.

Tulsa needs a new coach! CC would be a nice fit! Coached in Iowa!

I would think a Midwest school. Not sure about Tulsa.

BTW, CC has children in h.s. (I believe) and I'm not sure he wants to uproot.

CC has coached in Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan. Oklahoma isnt THAT far out of the realm of possibility.

I say "no" but people can disagree on this one.
