It's so stupid. 20 games in 20 years, and we played ONE that decided who went to the Liberty Bowl. So of course somebody decided that should be the theme going forward for all eternity.

All those trophy games that were made up are jokes. I think there was one with Memphis and La Tech and someone else? I will say this; today is the only day I have cared about the "Bell." We need a win bad at this point and I want the Bell. Tulame and Memphis have finally become the rivalry that was forced and made up for years. It was never a rivalry to us bc we always beat them like a drum. But now, since we have sucked so long and they have surpassed us, it kind of IS a rivalry now. Also, Tulane fans are such schmucks and have been talking crap about us since they left for the AAC. Have we gotten back to USM football? I sure hope so. Will find out soon.

uSm gets a FG after a blocked punt (no TD of course)

Tulame gets a late FG (SURPRISE) to lead 17-10 at half

We should have been able to pick up that punt and get a TD or at least some yards out of it. Whitey couldnt pick it up and felt he had to fall on it with no one around him. Sorry, had to be said.
