The pick 6, blocked punt and blocked FG reduced opportunities for USM’s O to even the stat. That plus the last TD against a our prevent D that traded yards for time off the clock takes away from the stat line. Tulane jumped out to a 14 zip lead early but got held to 3 until it did not matter.

I have us rated 7th in the conference and 3rd in the West after yesterday. I can completely see us as low as 10th and 5th. We can be greatly improved by seasons end, but still struggle to get a bowl game.

They are going to be the AACs flagship program after the B12 3 leave so a win against a Power 6 powerhouse is a good sign.

It sucks we blew it against Liberty. We had a chance this season to beat CUSAs flagship program next year but just made too many mistakes
