Growing Pains?
Not that we should look at Akron as an easy and automatic win, the last I looked we are a 28 point favorite. Does Salter have a breakout game against Akron this week or does he continue to have growing pains? What say you?

RE: Growing Pains?
I think we will see both. Based on freezes interviews there's been plenty of times that Salter would make a bad decision but his talent saves him and turns it into a positive play. That was against 3 solid defenses, so I imagine we will see more of the same against a much lesser defense. He'll make progress and start feeling more comfortable with the offense but we will still see signs of growing pains.

If we’re favorwd by that much, it’d be nice if we were up by at least that much. Then we’d have a chance to see all three QBs get playing time on schedule and not out of crisis or neccessity.

Absolutely. Salter needs the playing time more than anyone but I would be nice to get Bennett in there long enough to get his confidence back up and let Hampton take a couple snaps so he can get 1st game jitters out of the way if we ever need him in a pinch. Luckily we have 4 other games on the schedule that should be great opportunities to get young guys reps.
