Come for the packed arena, fundamentally sound coaching, championship level play of Long, Neely, Chambers, Thomas twins, Soucie, etc and stay for the celebration by a bunch of winners who clearly love each other and an engaged, united student body.

Great memories! I was there and it was magical.

Basketball can be magical at The George Gervin Arena this year but we need the entire community to spread the good word and come out to support!

Good points. We need the student body to show. They were a huge part of the late 80s and 90s teams.

We need to get the lower bowl full. The arena can't look like a library on a Saturday afternoon.

Haha. That was my favorite time to go to the library!

So odd that Brad Soucie seems to be having the most fun and then he transferred after the tournament loss to Pitt. Didn't see that coming.

I sent this over to Grant Long. He loved it. Said he watched the whole thing and it was a great walk down memory lane.

Grant Long was/is THE MAN! The Long-Majerle battles were epic. What a class act he is.
