Be interesting to see the landscape of college football today without the influence of the Sun Belt. How many coaches have lost their job after a loss to the Sun Belt recently? How many careers have been impacted in a negative or positive way by the rise of the Sun Belt? How many great coaches have been groomed in the Sun Belt? How would ESPN have survived covid without the Sun Belt? How does the P2 react to getting taken to the wood shed by 3 G5s in one weekend from the same conference? Tons of what ifs. Hell if it wasn't for GS the military academies would likely be more of an after thought than they are currently. Arguably more change has occurred due to the existence of the Sun Belt than any other single conference. Think about it. The impact is significant. We're literally the only finger in the eye of the P2 push at the moment.
