Speaking as someone who flies out of ATL every single month for work, I can tell you I’d rather spend 4 hours in the CLT airport than ATL.

The ATL airport is better than some, but nothing special.

Raleigh and Indianapolis have nice airports. Both terminals are <12 years old.

I cannot stand flying out of Hartsfield. If I can drive in 8 hours or less, I will avoid flying every time. It’s just too big and too crowded for me, personally.

The ATL airport is better than some, but nothing special.

What would I do on a layover in CLT. I have every restaurant imaginable in 7 terminals and 6 Starbucks. About the best I have been to is Seoul Incheon

1. CLT has a centurion lounge so its automatically better than ATL. But both suck because htey are doing entirely too many movements.
2. The schedulers in ATL seem to think that its no problem to schedule all layovers to be <40 minutes when flying common business or leisure routes. If you are not a diamond medallion you get your cardio in for the day trying to catch your connect.
3. While i don't do layovers in Charlotte, i see the same thing, even worse in Charlotte theres no intra-concourse transportation.
4. who cares how many restaurants are in there, airport food sucks with the exception of the 1st class lounges of a few international carriers. Mostly Asian and middle eastern. I'm not even sure whos in ATL besides the crappy Delta lounges.

You got to be ******* kidding me to even compare that crap called CLT with ATL. Charlotte sucks donkey balls.
