I have tried and tried to put pictures in my messages and they only come across as attachments. How do you embed them?

The square icon (mountain/sun image inside the box) above the text box is what you will click to insert your image. When you click the icon, you will be able to copy and paste the link of your image.

Or you can do this:

[img] link of image [/img]

Make sure you don't leave a space at the beginning and the end of the link between the brackets.

I am used to just cut and pasting into. Is the link a weblink I got the image from?

To get the address of the image only, generally right click on the image and click copy image address from the menu.
