Wommack has been so impressive. When he got here, he took less money to have more money for assistants and analysts. He took less money in his raise to once again get more money for his staff.

Hopefully we have one, as well as an agreement he brings his new team to Mobile.

Wommack is a heck of a coach, and he was my first choice for a coach during our last search. I think Hall will eventually win, but Wommack would have turned it around quicker like he has done at SouthAL.

Everyone doubted me when I said I thought South could potentially win it all this season and y’all came dang close. Wommack has been great for y’all’s program and another 10+ win season and he will start catching the attention of bigger programs.

He’s already had attention. I just don’t think it was the right attention this year. I agree that another 10 win season (5 points from 12-0) and he’s gone. At least he’ll be leaving us in a much better place than he found us.
