Let's hope we're forced to have a strong debate over that team and this year's, come the end of the season.

Had to miss watching/reading about the game til now. Just scrolled through everything and totally agree with TDF here. REALLY looking forward to the Elon game next Saturday.

I would have said that I will believe it when I see it.

Ha, what do you know -- we won by only 27. Good call !!
Had to listen on the "radio", with many interruptions, so I don't have a lot of comments. As someone said, it is hard to argue with a 27 point road win. I did notice from the boxscore that both Chang and Whitehurst seemed to have good games.

Imagining a few holding penalties screwing us out of a top 10 ranking this week
I just hope the injuries are not too bad. The ranking will eventually take care of itself if they keep winning. Elon has been a real stumbling block in the past. Started slow today, but the last 3 quarters were very solid.
A+ to our special teams. Great kicking, punting, returns and coverage. A new holder, too. If we could only block punts and FGs. Chang and Whitehurst were amazing.
DL allowed 47 rushing yards. Boom! Crushing run stopping and QB pressure all game. Pius and Lynn are nasty off the edge.
Huge props to Lucas. He would have blitzed 100 rushing yards but for Newton’s penalty. Yoder Yoder Yoder…bruiser! Yoder’s yards after first contact must be 5 yards.
Wilson is a complete QB and the best we’ve had in many years. Precision passes and can run. Big ? entering the season was our passing game. Answered. We need to keep him healthy with Mathis sidelined.
Newton is a surprisingly good WR. I did not expect that. I wish Guilford would get involved…huge target with zero receptions.
I think we went through yesterday without any major injuries. Momen Zahid was carried off the field, but i’m pretty sure i saw him back in there later in the game.

What about Jalen Jones? He didn’t play again after coming up limping on the long pass play in the first drive.

This, from the Tribe Scribe, answers a couple questions:
For the first time since 2015, its last playoff season, William & Mary scored at least 34 points in three consecutive games.
Defensively, the Tribe came in missing safety Tye Freeland and cornerback Ryan Poole for the second consecutive week. Jalen Jones, who had three interceptions in last week's win over Campbell, started for the second straight week but went down early.
Check out the betting line on the Tribe/ Lafayette game. Parx Casino had The Tribe + 19.5 while Caesars had us - 19.5. A friend sent me the info when it was too late for me to bet on it.
