If you want free money, take Buffalo on the Coastal game. No way we cover that.

First of our two byes. Still debating whether I want to stay home and watch lots of SBC football or get some cheap tickets and head over to Charlottesville to cheer on some SBC football.

RE: Week 3 SBC match ups
Marshall and App will be on upset alert, but I'm not sure either Troy or BGSU has the horses to actually pull it off. Talent is there for Troy, but we do not look good right now. Would be a mountain miracle if we pulled it off, but I expect a bit of a lull from App and Marshall this week.

Not sure about wins, but I think this another week where the SBC outperforms the vegas line. Out of USA, ODU, GS, and ARKST, we're not going winless. One, if not more, are getting an upset win.

My moneyline underdog for the week: South Alabama and Old Dominion. I have NO IDEA what happened against ECU but they are streaky as can be so ill chalk it up to that once a year outburst by the Pirates.

I certainly expect us to be a dog in this game, on the road, playing a squad that’s coming off a loss . . . . But 33.5, We might just cover that . . .

Will be very interesting to see how Texas State fares this week, and beyond. Hopefully Nevada was just a bad day, after that one I was a little worried about even FIU but you guys shut down those concerns quickly... Obviously doesn't look good that Nevada has done what they've done in their other two games though.

Hopefully just a bad day last week, and if so I wouldn't mind seeing another bad day in three weeks 05-mafia

After years of ups and downs, I'm beginning to gain a little confidence that we can be just a little more consistent. The changes in Wommack's two years have been drastic. Last week I picked Marshall/Notre Dame as my money game. This week I'm rolling with the Jags. We might not win, but I think the chances are even.

South, GS, and Ark State have beaten the spreads pretty soundly so if you're wagering money go with them. We're still at the point where computer models are using info from previous seasons so genuinely improved teams will be under-valued.

Also, I think we will get P5 win #5 this week. That's not being a Sun Belt homer, just playing the odds.

UAB is favored against Georgia Southern?! 04-jawdrop I agree with the Bobcat fan who thinks they will cover in the Baylor game! Coastal's going to bounce back after the Gardner-Webb debacle and beat Buffalo by three scores. I'm also feeling Old Dominion ends up 2-0 against the ACC Virginia teams this season...

Must wins: Marshall, Coastal, USM, GaSt, UL

Would like at least a split out of this group: Ark St, GATA

Get one here, and we’re having another mega week: USA, ODU

Would make this week even better than last: ULM, Texas St

Betting on stAte/tigger high is always risky. You just never know.

Here is my amateur tip for parlays, stop at 3 bets in one. Had I stopped at Marshall, App, and Georgia Southern (ironically my most confident picks), I would have around $7,000 more on a $5 bet.

I'm about as confident about USA at UCLA as I was with Marshall and App. Though I could be wrong and it may end up like ODU but after watching both UCLA and USA, I think USA is better coached. The Sun Belt is full of amazing coaching staff's right now and that really is the difference in performances.

I kinda had a feeling about App and Marshall both but kept telling myself that 1. It's my SBC bias, and 2. There's no way both win. So I picked neither. I was very confident in ODU vs VT and pretty confident in App vs UNC... I'd say I feel about the same about USA vs UCLA as I did about App vs UNC. Hopefully USA can finish the job that App fell just short of in that one.

Georgia Southern I really didn't see winning but thought it was an interesting matchup to see if GS is back yet, thinking if they're pretty well back then they would keep it respectable.
