UAB vs. LIBERTY
Last game:

00 Alabama A&M
59 UAB

Liberty won on the road at UAB last year, and UAB was a darn good team. This is gonna be another very tough game. It’s a 50/50 game. The early spread is UAB by 6.5.

I picked a Liberty loss last week, so I feel obliged to pick a loss again.

38 UAB
17 Liberty

But I know we can win, and hopeful we win. Go Flames!

RE: UAB vs. LIBERTY
If Salter starts, I’m optimistic. If Bennett starts I think the game could get out of hand quickly. There is no doubt UAB has a good team.

QB situation will be impactful. If HF messes around with Bennett and Salter it could cost the game. Salter is the best option even though he is young.

I’m not down on Bennett. I think he’s a very capable QB. I believe HCHF will do what’s best for this team.

Lots of action.
Feels like LU should be down 3 scores.
Thank goodness for forced turnovers.
We still have a chance.

Okay, somebody that was at the game yesterday, where there really over 18,000 people in the stands with all that rain?

No, I'm sure that was tickets sold. I will say, there were more there than I expected, given how nasty it was. Student section was really solid.

For the record, we saw some quick glimpses of Hampton in addition to Salter. I am building more confidence in our offensive capabilities as we move forward. I suspect that more of the playbook will be opened up for KSalt against Wake based on how he handled challenges vs UAB.

RE: UAB vs. LIBERTY
If you check out the Freeze's press conference from just a bit ago, he didn't instill much confidence on that front. This was the most negative I think I've ever heard him speak of someone's play. He said he was disgusted after watching the film at how many easy reads Salter missed. Not that he didn't say he did good things too, but he made it sound like Salter wasn't able to execute even the easy stuff yet. Here's hoping for some quick learning.

He definitely was not pleased with Salter.
