He probably doesn't care too much if the AAC house is on fire. He is getting a ticket to a P5 conference, so good for them. They SHOULD be in a P5 if you ask me (same for UC and UCF obviously).

When a program that has a small budget and market dump trucks your team for years and travels with 3x's as many fans as your home crowds it's understandable they're going to get their shots in when they can.

So they have this killer airport that makes it really easy for fans of visiting teams to fly in, get good seats in an empty stadium and watch their team get an automatic win.

I think it was at the beginning of the 2015 season, after we lost to, ironically, Charlotte...a thread popped up here that was basically like "should the conference step in to put out the fire that is GSU's program?" And while we WERE seemingly terrible, it was still clearly a salt-in-the-wound thread and came across as immature. When we turned things around and made a bowl that year...well, I suppose real haters never admit they were wrong, but I never want to be that guy that others are especially satisfied when I have to shut up.

I was at that game in section 122 and remember seeing his leg snap. Wasn’t pretty.

Was cool when he can back to the Joan his senior year and everyone applauded him.

Funny you say that because they already have one. College football is moderately popular in Japan thanks to WW2 ironically.

The Great 8 schools is basically the Japanese SEC. University of Tokyo, Keio University, Waseda University, etc have the biggest sports followings, the main flagship schools and produce most of the Japanese pro athletes
