RE: [split] WAC Football 2022
Here is proof for all that want to see it. The east side shown at the end of the video is the student section and band. It had less attendance than the west side of the stadium. And since when did NMSU fudge numbers? Prove they are fudging numbers. NMSU isn't doing or reporting anything any different than any other college program. Lastly, NMSU meets the 15k every 2 years requirement. Do they do it with promotions or Learfield buying up a bunch of tix? Heck yeah, they do. But the rules allow that.

I recall a certain TSU poster making claims about TSU attendance last year that were blatantly proven false.

My respect to TexasFan for admitting starting an attendance discussion was not in the best interest.
My kudos to Admins for moving this thread to the NMSU area to take the discussion off the main board.
And to Ignorant Texan. He kept arguing after all the appropriate facts were presented trying to take a dig at NMSU. His ignorance was VERY apparent.

Hoping today's game is entertaining.

Today's game marks the 11th Aggies vs Cardinals football game. So far, the Aggies hold the edge in wins 6-4. The Cardinals won the most recent game (1976 in Las Cruces) 21-17. The first game was in 1964 in Beaumont with a Cardinal win. The record in Las Cruces was 4-2 in favor of the Aggies. The biggest stomp to date belongs to the Aggies, a 69-37 win in 1970.

Here's the full history for anyone who is interested. I'm old enough to have been around for all the games, but I wasn't in town when any of them were played.

NMSU finishes 5-6. They should have been 6-5 with FIU. I did not think that they would be anywhere close to that. Great season.

I saw where the Aggies have asked for a waiver so they can accept a bowl invitation. Due to the cancellation of the San Jose game, they don’t met the minimum number of FBS wins to qualify for a bowl. I hope he waiver is granted.
