That's the toughest pick this week imo. Followed closely by Coastal and Army.

Definitely two tough picks, when it's a toss up you got to give it to the SB. App is also a toss up, which I also went with the SB. The Tarheels didn't impress me last night.

App now favored by Vegas.

App favored, not sure an App win can be called an upset

In some books App is favored by 1, in others UNC by 1, others EVEN. Who knows where it will be at on Saturday. Basically it’s a pick em.

Looks like my Saturday will be very unproductive, App vs UNC at 12, Troy vs Ole Miss at 4, GSU vs USC at 7:30. Maybe I'll take a peek at Grayson McCall if that game is interesting.

Norfolk @ Marshall
Nicholls @ South Alabama
Morgan State @ Georgia Southern
SELA @ Louisiana
Grambling @ Arkansas State

Louisiana has the toughest test with a ranked SELA team, but their Walter Payton Award-winning QB is at least gone. Tim Rebowe at NSU is also a really solid coach and could present some problems. The other 3 are not dangers for an upset whatsoever.

The non-P5 FBS Games:
Texas State @ Nevada - Bobcats get 2022 started right with a win 31-28.
Army @ Coastal - Curious to see how Army manages this season with the new blocking rules. Either way, Coastal picks up the win 24-20.
Middle Tennessee @ JMU - Dukes beat their first ever home FBS opponent 24-13
Liberty @ Southern Miss - USM bests Flame 21-17

Some might be hoping for a sweep here but I think 2-2 is fine. All of these are considered swing games.

The P5 Games:
Virginia Tech @ ODU (Thursday) - Tough one, Justin Fuente left a roster mess but Tech's coaching is solid, I'll take ODU in a close one 20-17.
UNC @ App - Low-scoring game, but I think UNC edges App 23-21.
Troy @ Ole Miss - Troy defense plays well but is overwhelmed 31-14
Georgia State @ South Carolina - USC 27-17 Panthers hang on and buckle late.
ULM @ Texas - Texas will win, but the spread is excessive. People are overestimating Steve Sarkisian. Longhorns 38-10.

The goal here should be to get 1 P5 win.

That was spot on! Well done!!! +3

That's pretty pessimistic, given 5 of those are FCS games that should be easy and nearly guaranteed. We need to be winning 50% or more of G5 games and steal a P5 win here and there.

I picked 6 wins for the SBC this week but we had 8. Chiefsfan picked 8 wins and nailed it. Congrats, CF.
