ACU only had a little more than 5400, sad...
Thursday night game with bad weather against a SWAC school is a perfect storm for low attendance. Home side was pretty packed, visitor side virtually empty. Game plan was pretty vanilla but seeing a dinosaur walk around the stadium was pretty entertaining. As long as Whitten is the coach I have low expectations for the team so I guess I cant say I was too disappointed in the performance.
You might want to check the recent history of how Tarleton football Coaches stack up to Whitten. Not many have the success at TSU like he has.
Also, while you are criticizing look at what happened to N Alabama during transition.
IMHO he has done a stellar job. I will concede he takes his foot off the gas pedal too early in games and it cost the Texans a win against McNeese a couple of years ago. His play calling is straightforward and predictable as well. All in all he gets the horses and that's why he gets the results.

Good presentation. Wildcat Stadium looks like a great stadium. They need to work on the ambient crowd noise. It sounded like a high school broadcast with the mike right by the broadcast window.

RE: WAC Football 2022
Thanks for posting this summary video. Attended the game but the video review was quite good.
ACU is very fortunate to have outstanding facilities all around the campus for just about everything, and to have even more major building projects being worked on currently. The new dormitories are really big and impressive. The new Moody Colesium will start its first season this year, and the Science Engineering Rearch Center (SERC) to house the new reactor should be completed in 2023, making the fourth major hard science and engineering building on campus. Exciting times and glad to be in the WAC with some of our old rivals (and new ones) that we respect and admire.

Good one, Sooooooo original. Seattle and other schools aren’t on this message board talking “big time” and then getting less than 9k for the season opener.

So, when is the last time Seattle had 9000 plus show up for any sporting event?

ACU looks to have a pretty good offense. The QB has a strong arm. I was also impressed with Lamar's QB . Man that one pass was a long one and spot on.

Seattle has 7500 students and TSU has 14000. So I could only talk, if more than 100% of SU attends a game, but like 60% of TSU attends a game?

Lamar was a lot stronger than last year, it seemed to me. And you are right about the Cardinal QB. He's a player. McIvor, the Wildcat QB has a cannon for an arm. This year there are a lot of good receivers so it will come down to protection for the offense.

Last time I checked Tarleton was closing in on 15,000 students. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. There really is no need for your negativity.

Seattle should be attracting all of the Seattle/Tacoma metro area to their exciting games. They actually get about 1000 out of 4 million, about 0.025%.
Tarleton's pool is 15,001: their students plus the guy that owns the Dairy Queen. They're pulling in 60%. I think they win this particular p*ssing contest.

Utah - not in the WAC
Army- not in the WAC
Montana - not in the WAC
Anyone can go and live in Utah, it’s not an exclusive state. Living there doesn’t mean you’re a WAC fan or alumni
Do you still visit the SLC and LoneStar message boards? Since you’re going to claim that because Utah was here 30 years ago, that gives him reason to visit?

I didn’t realize posting on this board was limited to WAC teams and as long as they don’t talk trash Id much rather have a poster from the Big Sky join the discussion than a WAC poster whose team doesn’t play football coming on here pursuing an agenda

What other conference boards do you post on? At least my team is in the WAC, and he is saying I shouldn’t be posting because SU doesn’t have football? That’s why I asked who he rooted for. Apparently not any WAC teams. So kind of hypocritical to tell me I can’t post here.
My “agenda” is belittling crap talking fans. Tarleton has a few crap talking fans. They love to spread lies and talk big, but when they have mediocre results, they don’t bring it up.
