For those who want to better understand this. SFA was in the Texas State System. SFA have been losing students, growth has slowed and their potential is extremely low but with a move to the TT System, they would have more money to make a jump to the FBS in due time. Just good info to have.

This post moved from the C-USA board.

Do any SFA folks have any thoughts on this?

Tried to post this as an off-topic -----but it was DELETED for some unknown reason.

Wrong thread for this discussion. On the SFA board they are discussing it.

Sorry if wrong thread but SFA is part of the WAC. Seems like it would be a related topic.

A change in their university structure could have an affect on athletics.

Maybe an SFA fan could start a thread and give more info since I'm a visitor on this board. Please do not delete this post--- IMO I am not making an egregious suggestion.

I tried starting a new thread with O.T.-- this subject-- and it was deleted.

The thread title is as generic as possible. And we have a mod deleting threads. Thank you for posting this. If you hadn't, I would have had no idea about this topic.

I know what I am typing has nothing to do with this thread but it does deal with where it has gone. And this is for clarification only as what I will be discussion has happened to me on several occasions.

I am the one who posted this subject under the SFA Division category.

Do most posters only read their school’s threads under the WAC Divisional subjects? Is it more likely to get read if a subject like this appears among the main WAC threads? What should be posted under the university specific categories?

Personally, I spend the vast majority of my time on the main board. I find there is very little activity on the site specific boards. I usually go to them when I am bored or there is not much activity on the main board.

I think our mod has too much time on his hands (which is weird considering all the political activity he is engaged in) and is looking for any opportunity to "moderate" the board.

There is no record of any thread by you being created on this subject and then deleted on this board.

Post what you want under your school's forum. I move school specific related topics to that schools forum to help grow that forum. Also you never know when a school is moving to another conference.

I am not deleting threads. The only threads I delete are my own. If a thread or a post disappears, it's been unapproved. That means only mods can see them. That didn't happen here.

I have cut it from the original thread.

Sorry about the generic thread title. It was a typo as I missed the schedule portion, as basketball conference schedules were released. The other thread was big containing multiple years. Most posts there are about single games for one WAC team, making it a little hard for me to navigate.

Don't apologize. It's not your fault people can't figure out where to post topics correctly.
