I’m waiting for the hyped up headlines at the end of this fake war that Russia is now a huge threat because the NATO countries weapons are depleted and we now how to give them weapons instead of making them buy them. And we will, because we’ve helped crash Europes economy with inflation due to high energy prices and those countries don’t have the money to spend.

Fake war? Looks pretty real to me.

Pooty is in the eleventh month of his one week special military operation. He can't even win a fake war, apparently. Wonder how he'd do in a real one.

Is Ukraine in nato yet?

Putin has pretty much guaranteed that they will be. Ukraine has proven to be an excellent blocking force for any future Russian western expansionist follies. Prior to the war, I dont think NATO saw Ukraine as having much value as a potential member---but Putins rogue expansionist war has clearly heightened the NATO belief that future Russian aggression is inevitable and changed NATO's perception of Ukraine's value as a NATO member.

where are you getting this slavi ukraine globo pedo propaganda. you are completely sold.

oh....and frick NATO

C'mon. If you just stop slobbering all over Putin for just long enough to think, you'll see this is all related to current NATO concerns to Russia's expansionist westward military invasion, previous US security promises made to Ukraine in 1990's, and the perceived threat to the American Rules Based World Order. As Ive said before---Im fine with withdrawing to our part of the world----but if we do----we cant whine and cry when the US dollar ceases to be the worldwide reserve currency. What you're seeing in Ukraine is the cost of being the enforcement mechanism behind a Rules Based World Order---but its also why the dollar is the worlds reserve currency. Ive already told you mutiple times that if we withdraw from NATO, my interest in Ukraine effectively vanishes. That said, if we are going to remain part of NATO---in light of Russia's rogue state military expansionism---the Ukrainians have more than proven their military value as a potential NATO member.

White House Approves Fresh $320M+ Military Aid Package for Ukraine

Quote:The White House approved a fresh Ukraine military aid package Wednesday with $325 million worth of battlefield supplies from U.S. stores placed at Kiev’s disposal.

The announcement came on the same day Ukraine´s defense minister said his country has just received U.S-made Patriot surface-to-air guided missile systems it has long craved.

The latest equipment includes ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, precision aerial bombs, TOW guided missile systems, AT-4 anti-armor weapons systems, anti-tank mines and demolition munitions, UPI reports.

It will all be pulled from Pentagon stocks to expedite delivery to the front lines.

The assistance is derived from the Presidential Drawdown Authority, which allows the president to draw assistance from existing stocks of U.S. weapons.

The latest assistance package is the 36th time the Presidential Drawdown Authority has been used to supply Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The assistance package comes on the heels of a $2.6 billion military aid package announced by the White House earlier this month.

That aid package included $2.1 billion to bolster air defense and anti-armor systems and $500 million for ammunition.

Biden announced Wednesday afternoon he has approved sending 31 Abrams M1 main battle tanks to Ukraine, in an escalation of U.S. support for the war as it nears the one-year mark. https://t.co/fx60Tkga3e

— Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) January 25, 2023

The announcement of the new U.S. aid comes before Friday’s meeting in Germany of defense and military leaders from more than 50 countries to discuss and plan for future Ukraine security assistance, AP reports.

The Ukraine Contact Group was formed about a year ago by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to better coordinate the military aid, weapons and training for Ukraine which continues to pour in from around the world but remains principally driven by Pentagon supplies.

The $113 billion in U.S. aid to Ukraine has eclipsed the annual military budget of every country in the world except the United States and China. https://t.co/gqwjMZMXRF

— Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) December 26, 2022

Austin and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, will both attend the meeting.

The new U.S. aid package includes demolition munitions to clear routes, more than nine million rounds of small arms ammunition, four logistics support vehicles, spare parts, and equipment for harbor security and maintenance and repair.

Wednesday’s drawdown brings the total in U.S. taxpayer-funded Ukraine military aid to nearly $36 billion.

BREAKING: Biden sends $2.1 BILLION 'security assistance package' to Ukraine

Quote:The Department of Defense (DoD) has just announced that they are sending $2.1 billion to Ukraine in the form of a "new security assistance package." The large package includes "critical air defense and ammunition capabilities," which is being provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).

The following are the capabilities comprised within the support package:

Additional munitions for Patriot air defense systems;

HAWK air defense systems and missiles;

105mm and 203mm artillery rounds;

Puma Unmanned Aerial Systems;

Laser-guided rocket system munitions;

Support for training, maintenance, and sustainment activities.

The announcement stated that the "United States will continue to work with its Allies and partners to provide Ukraine with capabilities to meet its immediate battlefield needs and longer-term security assistance requirements."

At the time of this report, the US alone has provided more than $75 billion of support to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This does not include the support the Eastern European country has received from other allied nations.

From what I read that isn't new money, it is part of what was already approved by congress for Ukraine. It is a draw down of the funding already passed.
