Driving by the Factory I saw a Ryan Kelley for Governor lawn sign placed on school property. I hope that none of our coaches placed it there.

I'm still sticking to my prediction of 7-5. I'd be ok with 6-6 but this team has the talent to legitimately be 7-5 with a shot at 8-4

CMU is always good and Lew is ridiculous but remember they lost 2 linemen to the NFL.

We return a lot and our secondary is very deep in a QB happy league.

All the GOP Governor picks are bad jokes. Ditto the GOP Secretary of State and AG. Every one of them election deniers. STILL!

I thinks its a range of 5-7 6-6 or 7-5 if Powell remains healthy. We always lose some games we should win and also the opposite.

The (lack of) thought police! Shut up and dribble? While this site is indeed about athletics, Eastern Michigan University is a UNIVERSITY, followed by people who hopefully have interests and perspectives that go beyond following their alma mater. Some things transcend mid major athletics. 07-coffee3

This forum is a fan forum for issues related to EMU sports, EMU, MAC and related-topics. Tweeter is good for things like politics, public policy, world events, religion, etc.

One should be aware of the audience they are communicating.

The site is literally titled "College Sports Nation" CSN lol. There are plenty of lecture halls and other forums to voice political debates. Or better yet, just start a thread titled "Politics." seriously. Carry On

BobW is playing a game. If one don't want to talk politics, public policy, governance, etc. is must be because one is shallow and just knows the pedestrian things in life.

As every young man knows, do not talk about sex at work. Hold it for after work while drinking with the buddies.

There is a time and place for everything.

Most regular posters have veered into politics at one time or another including Steve. A vast majority of posts here are sports related.

That's true, I have made a conscious effort in recent times to stay away from anything related to politics, governance or public policy with the except with funding for education or a general discussion of the MI budget related to education which are relevant to EMU.

Do remember in the last year or so discuss the 'baby bust' where the number of babies born in the U.S. say 20 years ago is way down and that cohort is now attending college.

I do remember that we had problems in the past but things have been on topic in recent times.

If someone wants a politics thread start one elsewhere. This thread is regarding football projection.

ONE THOUSAND percent agree! Families don't speak to one another because of their views! RIDICULOUS! Focus on sports here! Let's go 8-4 EMU! This current recruiting class in two-three seasons will bring us A MAC championship! You simply can't normally out coach A team, that simply has much better talent! Football and basketball finally seam on the trajectory of the glory days from 87-91, when we were very good at both sports!

So when Jesse Owens won 4 gold medals at the 1936 Olympics in Munich, you would have to be a complete coward to keep the conversation to JUST the competition. FFS, if we lose our Democracy, I wouldn't give a flying f*** how many games the football team wins. Hopefully that goes without saying.

Holy hell Bob. Take it easy man. It's just a light discussion thread on football predictions. Sheesh!!! It's supposed to be fun and connect people on our live for the team.

Hope you're wrong. We can't keep living in an endless .500 cycle, it defeats the whole purpose of fandom and hope. We simply have to do better.
