The point I was making in my initial post was that if Keyontae Johnson signed with EMU he would be part of a talented team comparable to to that UCLA team.

I was hoping Johnson would read it and he would see he had the opportunity to be part of a team that would had unlimited upside. Unfortunately, Bob did not comprehend the purpose of my post.

As always, great posts by Jerry Weavers.

Wooden and Smith are my favorite college head coaches.

Great Post Miggy!

Keyontae Johnson would definitely make EMU a 15-25 team in the country with a shot at a deep run in the Tourney. The George Gervin arena would be Rocking!

Look for Noah to not repeat committing more than three turnovers in a game as he did in 5 of the 16 conference games he played last season. He should also improve his number of turnovers in other conference games as well. He'll reduce his turnovers by slowing down and no longer leaving his feet to pass the ball to the wings.

He made adjustments at the end of last season by committing no turnovers in his last two conference games.

EMU needs to start marketing Noah Farrakhan a bit more because he’s one of the best players in the country: video worth repeating

And no Ramy, Noah didn’t transfer out after freshman season :-) thank goodness!

Hey MAC, you don’t think I’m a preseason All Conference player? That’s ok, I’m working with a chip on my shoulder

Noah has committed 5 turnovers in his first two games. Last season, he committed 9 turnovers in his first two games. He's improving.

In the Michigan game, someone on his team knocked the ball out of bounds near the basket and Noah went up in the air out of bounds, made an incredible save by heaving the ball over his head and was caught by a Michigan player.

Was that counted as a turnover? If so, unfair.

He still makes some very questionable passes. He missed Geeter on such an easy dump off when he was rolling to the basket that it caused Geeter to run into the defender that stole the pass and commit his 3rd foul. I love his aggression, and I think he will do better to rein it in as he grows as a player, but he has to be more careful with the ball if he’s gonna be a point guard.

Towards end of game, with a two on one, Noah missed a dump off for an easy layup but attacked instead and got fouled and we were not yet in the bonus. Plenty of growth opportunities for Noah as well:-)

Noah needs to control his speed and make two-handed passes. He's getting better controlling his speed, but still room for improvement.
