Finally. A stat that isn't embarrassing.
It's pretty crazy that Baylor has a winning record the past five years considering that period includes a 1-11 campaign in our first post-scandal season under Matt Rhule and a 2-7 season in Dave Aranda's first year (the COVID season).
It's been a manic stretch for the Bears, but I think we're past those types of wild fluctuations now.

Any Oklahoma State fans have context as to the 1945 title and why Oklahoma State started to claim it (if I recall this is more recent, maybe the last 5-10 years)? Army and Bama also finished undefeated in 1945.

RE: New Big XII Football Teams Comparison
It comes down to what criteria do you use to justify a national chip. IMO, the BCS system started the unification for declaring national champions now followed by the CFP. Fair or unfair, that is what most accept as relevant criteria over the past several decades. Again, I don't have an agenda so if some of you want to include UCF as national champions then you're welcome to your opinion and I don't have a dog in that fight.

Def feel honored to be in the other teams company considering we are the new kids on the block (by a big margin). We're like fetuses compared to the other schools!

Considering it’s in the official record book and the playoff was stacked, I would think it counts more than many other claimed ships.
