Facilities Updated but I Have Questions
Did my best with "not able to sleep" brain. Check yours and see what is wrong or what I missed.

Now for Questions
(anyone please answer what you can)
1. Who else has swimming/diving?

2. Who has beach volleyball? I need names.

3. Any newbies have a cross country course you call home?

4. Will we be keeping the old affiliates in men's soccer or did we give them the boot?

5. Are we going to have affiliates in beach volleyball or swim/dive or are we going to be affiliates elsewhere?

If you have 1, 2 or 3, name the facility.

Thanks all

RE: Facilities Updated but I Have Questions
1. Looks like you've got JMU covered for Swimming and Diving.

2. Currently no beach volleyball at JMU.

3. Looking at schedules for this year and in previous years, it looks like JMU Cross Country's home course is the New Market Battlefield.

4. Sun Belt Men's Soccer will be Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall and Old Dominion and affiliate members Central Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina and West Virginia. Women's soccer I'm having trouble finding 2022 info other than individual teams' schedules. Hopefully someone else can be more help here.

5. The Sun Belt itself will be sponsoring beach volleyball and women's swimming & diving no later than the 2023-24 seasons. So we won't be affiliates elsewhere at that point, I don't think there's info yet on if we'll have affiliates and who they'll be. Sun Belt is also exploring field hockey sponsorship, also starting 2023-24.

Info for #5 here. I don't think there's been anything further yet.
Quote:The Board approved Sun Belt Conference sponsorship of two additional sports—beach volleyball and women’s swimming & diving—by no later than the 2023-24 season, along with the exploration of field hockey sponsorship for the 2023-24 campaign.

All 14 SBC members will sponsor Women's Soccer this season. UT Arlington was the only original SBC member to not sponsor the sport, and they left the league.

Southern Miss has beach volleyball and plays at the aptly-named Southern Miss Beach Volleyball Complex.

Digging through the archives, it’s been a few years since we hosted a XC meet, and the last 3 we did host were held at at least 2 different locations. The 3rd location wasn’t specified.

Oh one little thing I just noticed, looks like you have women's only for JMU Soccer but we have both.

Should have named it the “Favre Speaking Engagement Complex”

My guess is they had a naming contest and this was the best submitted? 03-thumbsup

Coastal Carolina host teams at the aptly named Coastal Carolina Outdoor Volleyball Complex. Have been playing for several years. Originally ASUN, more recently CUSA.

The primary T&F outdoor events are held at Myrtle Beach’s Doug Shaw Stadium.

Coastal should just put some nets up at the Myrtle Beach boardwalk for the beach volleyball games. It would be unique and eye catching.
