What are the things I need to know for this season? What kind of offense do we run? Players to watch? I know Liberty was really good last year, but I never watched a game.

Welcome to Flames Nation! We’re a great fanbase with good folks.
Some things to know. Many call Williams Stadium “The Bill.” It is a fantastic little stadium that is going through some renovating right now. Seats are being added in one of the endzones along with box seating. And they are taking out some bleachers and adding chairbacked seats on one side of the stadium.
Liberty football has one of the best student sections in all of college football. The Joker’s are fun to watch during the games… students that paint their bodies and get rowdy.
The Spirit of the Mountain is the Liberty marching band and they do a great job. The admin makes great use of actual flames pre, during, and post game.
The QB competition will be interesting this fall. Keep an eye on these names… Charlie Brewer (RSr.), Kaidon Salter (RFr.) and Johnathan Bennett. (RSo.)
At RB were looking with TJ Green (RSr.), Dae Dae Hunter (Jr.) and Shedro Louis (Jr.), so we should be fine.
We’ve got some very capable WR in CJ Yarbrough (RSo.), Treon Sibley (RSo.), Caleb Snead (RSr.), Noah Frith (RJr.), and Demario Douglas (RSo.)
and TE Jerome Jackson (RSr.) and Austin Henderson (RFr.)
The defense is pretty stacked with talent.
Some LU catch phrases…
“Light’em Up!”
“Be Early, Be Loud, Wear Red!”
“Rise With Us!”
“Training Champions for Christ”
Again welcome to the family… and GO FLAMES!!!
