NU advances to the semis after beating Stony Brook 85-68. NU will face Monmouth who upset Drexel earlier today!

NU was up 2 after 3 quarters and went on to outscore SB 25-10 to win going away.

Derin Erdogan had 27 points, 9 assists, she's some player.

She put on a clinic tonight.

I started out rooting for Monmouth to win but by late in the game I changed my tune. Maybe Drexel peaked too soon. They have been looking pretty mortal lately. I like our chances in the final. We have a lot of weapons and momentum.

We never got better and relied on a single gal. It was never a recipe for long term success. Our fans knew we werent destined for a run this year despite being in first much of the season. Many of us feared losing to Monmouth too.

I'd like to have that third quarter back but they deserved the win. They won almost every stat. Good luck against Towson. Thanks for an exciting season, ladies!

NU fails to reach the finals, losing to Monmouth 73-60.

NU led 30-26 at the half, but outs cored 22-8 in the 3rd quarter. It was a myriad of NU turnovers in that period and Monmouth’s 3-point shooting in the 4th that killed us.

NU finishes the season 19-12.

Bridgette Mitchell has been named the head women's basketball coach at Fordham University. A national search for the next leader of @GoNUwbasketball is currently underway.

The CAA COTY after only 2 seasons is leaving.

Regardless who NU hires they’re going to take a step back..,

I've always said that I'd rather have a good coach for only a few years than a mediocre coach for a lot of years but TWO years? Still I hope they use coach B as a blueprint for picking their next coach.

I guess this means Erdogan follows her to Fordham.

NU hires Clemson Assistant Coach Priscilla Edwards as the 8th head coach.

Edwards was an assistant at Clemson for 2 seasons and at Providence 5 seasons before that.

Congratulations and welcome!
