That’s wonderful. Any update on her health? I’m a huge fan. I wish she had stuck around here for a while but understood why she took the big job!

Wow I had no idea she had some health issues. i unfollowed her on Twitter when she bolted for the SEC. Glad she seems to be okay now and glad she's back coaching, but I really was disappointed when she left our program. I thought she was perfect for us, if not too good.

The days of coaches staying at one place for decades (Webb, Stanley, Larry) are dwindling to a very few. I hope our Athletic Dept. has an ongoing, updated file of potential hires for the inevitable defections. I think the process of staring from scratch with "a national search" is a waste of time. Know who you'd like to have coach for you and go after them. If you like them that much, you don't mind paying a bit more because you approached them (through back channels, of course).
