Someone is odd man out with 7 but Marshall and App are the closest schools in the division. . If I was doing it I'd probably do MU/JMU GaSO/CCU App/GSU and ODU would be odd man out. It's just for travel for the west teams that play us away. Those are all reasonable trips of like 4 hours apart.

Or maybe CCU outside. They are kind halfway between GaSo and ODU. Then it'd be JMU/ODU MU/APP GSU/GaSo and CCU. That actually looks better for closest options.

For men's soccer it wouldn't matter. All the teams are in the east, anyway
Fair enough. But if it's a cost saving measure, if they are going to charter a flight, why aren't we doing men's and women's double headers in basketball, or playing simultaneously in baseball and softball at the same school so we can maximize the money that is spent? Does that make sense?

I agree. That's why I originally said they don't seem to believe in it. We did a lot of that in CUSA.

why do you need travel partners when you're not playing multiple games on a trip to south carolina for example.

We don't for soccer because they're a week apart as noted. But would work for other sports between east and west.
