Most of our facilities suck but this might be the opportunity for us to improve upon them. It takes money, lots of it. Our Football should be good this year. Our baseball team has had solid back-to-back seasons and will return the CUSA Pitcher of the Year. We have a Men's basketball team. Women's basketball program is on the upswing and is returning the reigning CUSA POY. Women's soccer won CUSA last year. Track and field is usually solid. Volleyball is struggling. Men's tennis just had their best year ever. Women's Golf was solid, too. Not sure what else I'm missing.

I'm looking forward to the step up in competition, to visiting new stadiums and campuses, and creating new rivalries. I hope some of you will take the opportunity to visit the Alamodome for a Football game when your team visits. The atmosphere, at times, is electric and the tailgating is very good. Open invitation to my tailgate whenever you make it to the dome. Birds Up!
