Liberty....

I am probably the only person that will do this....

I want to say thank you for the few years you put into this conference.

You helped elevate us and that is commendable.

I'm not your biggest fan, but I am a fan.

Anyway. Good luck with CUSA....( I think y'all would have been better served as an Indy in football and stayed in the ASUN,) but anyways, have fun....

RE: Liberty
Thanks lion. I have enjoyed the ASUN and those who have engaged on our page. I’m pretty torn between staying “as is” and moving to C-USA.

Will continue to remain invested in the ASUN.

Thanks for this post.

It would have been nice to stay Independent in football. The problem is, with moving to larger conferences, there is less out of conference games, making scheduling difficult. Independents have no bowl ties in or shot at a New Year's 6 Bowl. Also, while nothing bad at the ASUN, in order to grow some of our sports such as basketball needed to move to CUSA. Also, being an Independent, you have no allies. If Liberty ever wants to move up to a better FBS conference, they have to start somewhere by showing they can be a good conference partner.
