After seeing their players literally laughing at the rest of the field, I hope we don’t even have play ‘em. I want to see Kennsaw punch them in the mouth, us beat Army, and West Point send their a**es home.

I'm listening to several takes on the tourney, I feel better about it.

We start out with Army.

I feel like we have a slight advantage. The game is at 1 PM. Folks it's gonna be hot. Last weekend for the Patriot League, the highs were in the 60s and 70s with little humidity. I'm not sure they're ready for South MS heat. When looking at their competition I feel like we have another advantage and pending on who starts out on the mound we could have a decent showing. I know Berry wants to try to keep the weekend rotation, but I'm not sure if I'd put Riggins or Waldrep out there, I may would start with Adams, but that's my opinion and I don't get paid to coach.

Army on the other hand has a LH pitcher that's pretty decent, and unfortunately lefties have given the boys trouble this season. Army is also good at base running and stealing. I think USM has 40 stolen bases as a team this season, Army has players that have that as their season total. They're going to be swift and well coached. Their coach has coached against USM before.

I feel like playing in the heat, starting out with strong pitching and minimizing Army getting on base, and letting the bats get warm we can win. I don't think it'll be easy, baseball is fickle.

LSU vs KSU. I feel like LSU is already sleeping on KSU and focusing on the Super. KSU has a decent team and could pull it off. I feel like KSU will throw their ace here, while LSU may overlook them and put in their #2 or #3 guy. KSU could take advantage.

I would prefer this..

USM vs KSU in the winners game
Army vs LSU in losers game

If USM throws Adams in game one, if they have KSU in game 2 could throw Riggins in game 2.

Army would probably get eliminated and LSU wins and faces KSU in the next game. We face LSU and have Waldrep and Hall in the wings.

But you know what they say about best laid plans right?

It could very easily be USM vs LSU in the winners game on Saturday or USM in the losers game on Saturday.

I'm sure a few of our fans are saying we shouldn't throw Adams in game 1 just go ahead and throw Waldrep or Riggins.

I can't remember has Stuart ever got the starting nod? I'd put Adams in if he has that experience over Stuart and if he ain't producing yank him and put Stuart in.

They didn’t. Heard from the Assistant AD after the Ole Miss game earlier this year that “we weren’t going to do that again”. It was an absolute nightmare. I’d say they capped it at around 5k similar to what they did in 2017.

Ncaa is in charge of your ballpark for regionals, USM is simply the host site.

EXACTLY....no chance attendance tops 6000 this weekend, probably capped it more in the 5000-5200 range IMO
