ULM took two of three from Georgia State playing in Monroe but that means nothing now. If we win we know we're going to the 1-4-5 bracket.

Yeah, no offense to GSU, but I think we match up better against them than UALR.

As much as I look forward to SBC baseball in 2023, it looks from the outside SBC baseball has been pretty freaking fun this year. Get 3 in the dance.

This season is definitely more on par of what the league is capable of and should be fairly routine going forward, with the added depth. Last season was a down year for the league, so it's good to see the bounce back. Texas State, GS, and Coastal should all be locks for at large bids.

Of course of worst year seems to have been the fluke since the 2020 season was excellent until COVID stopped play.

Exactly. Warhawks have taken 3 of 4 from Georgia State now. ULM is a much better team than the record indicates but it just hasn't come together for us this season. That's baseball, right?

We also slid in the standings as the year went on. Overall, I like what I saw this year as I think it moves us forward, but we were a pretty middle-of-the-road team that mostly beat the teams we were supposed to and lost to those we were supposed to (with the occasional high point like that sweep in Conway).
