I chuckle every time the tourney schedule comes out and there's 3 and a half hours between games. Don't expect your game to start on time unless it's the first one for the day.

We used to debate a ton about the Merits of the late game back when the tournament was at Campus sites, and the host chose the start time of their first game.

The inevitably always chose the 7:30 start, which always started at least an hour or more late, and were left playing midnight baseball hoping they didn't lose and have to turn around and play the Noon game the next day.

Southern Miss won't be picking the last slot.

Just a reminder that TXST was picked to finish 7th in the pre-season coaches poll and had 0 players on the pre-season all conference team.

Which is why I put little stock in Pre-season Prognostications, particularly at the Collegiate level . . ..

. . . on a side note, for the sake of our Football Program, I sure hope that Winning is Contagious . . Hoops . . Baseball. . . . that sport with the funny bouncing ball.

We were picked 2nd ahead of 2 teams with multiple first place votes because everyone knew we were going to Rodney away a regular season title again.

Expect plenty of late starts in Montgomery. Lots of rain in the forecast Tue, Wed and Thurs. That, after not seeing a cloud the entire week last year.
