Men’s LAX
Props to the Hens! Now two wins in the national tourney to include the takedown of #2 seed, Georgetown. Hens now one game away from the Final 4 - if they can beat Cornell next weekend.

Towson made the Final 4 about 5 years ago, the most recent CAA rep to get that far.

CAA men’s lax continued to compete well on the national stage. Next year, the CAA adds Monmouth, SBU and Hampton. Affiliate UMass will be moving into the new A10 men’s lacrosse league. Affiliate Fairfield tbd. If the CAA does not offer Fairfield full membership, it is rumored Fairfield may shift over to the A10 as well. It’s worth noting that affiliates UMass and Fairfield are typically the weakest performers in CAA lax.

Delaware-Cornell MLAX, the Ben DeLuca Bowl.

This preview article over at Lacrosse Bucket turned out to be pretty prophetic: Ben DeLuca Has Delaware on a Collision Course With The CAA Championship. Is 2022 The Year They Finally Reach The Top?

RE: Men’s LAX
I love to see our teams having postseason success in non-revenue sports. I know football and basketball drive the bus, but I still think having competitive non-revenue sports boosts the perception of our league, at least among AD's and school presidents. Good luck to Delaware!
