WalMart had a lot of stuff a few years ago. Whole dislpay up front. Looked nice.

Not sure what it is like now, but last time I was there they had crap that look like rejects no one wanted. The tower with shirts like VCB had was almost bare. Looked like a tornado had went through, had some other college stuff in there.

Is there still that little gift shop in the Barsema Alumni & Visitors Center? I have not been there for a few years. I remember that it was small, but the items were of high quality.

There used to be that decent little gift shop in the Convo Center. It was a nice thing, but of course they closed it. After that, VCB had a couple tables of the usual items in the lobby. Now that VCB has closed, is there anything for sale on game days in the Convo?

It seems like everything related to NIU gets more and more depressing.

I really hate that thing. Almost as much as the one at Wrigley.

Now, pissing on the wall with running water on it in the endzone at Memorial Stadium on the other hand.....

I really wonder how old that is. It's been there since at least the early 80's, before remodeling. Maybe 50's...20's? And then they have the sink that's is like a half circle that shoots water streams out of a few hole. You step up to. I have seen opposing fans go to piss in it. It's crazy. I can see how one could think it was a pisser.

RE: Best place for NIU gear now that VCB is gone?
So I was unable to make it to Chilton's because it opened after my meeting at my customer started and then we were going all day and then had to hit the road quick. I did hit the Walmart in Dekalb though and had some very good finds.

I scored:
Button down embroidered dress shirt
Polo shirt
Dri-fit t-shirt
cotton t-shirt
Nice steel water bottle with logo
camo hat
a 3-d color emblem that I plan to put on the back of my RV
logo magnet

All for $140. There were plenty of other options and most of the options were available in most sizes.

Thanks all for the suggestions!
