RPI is a strange world, lol. Our friends to our east lost one to bama, yet they stayed the same. That I can kinda understand. We swept UTA this weekend, and laturd lost their series with lowly fau, at home no less, yet they are still just a smidge ahead of us. These upcoming games for us, esp against tx state will tell a lot. But I am certainly a whole lot more confident of this squad than at any other time in season. Ending strong is the right path.

Not saying Tech is playing great baseball right now but everybody we play is in the top 100 rpi. It helps when your conference is ranked 5. Now we play some in the bottom of the conference this week. If we don’t sweep them we will drop. fAU is not lowly.

Well, I’ll say it for you: y’all are barely playing decent baseball. Of course, it’s hard to judge why since you can’t watch any games, but from what I have seen and read, there are no stand-out players, your pen is lacking, your offense is not good, and your coaching seems very suspect. That’s not smack, just what I’ve seen. Your main claim is beating lsu twice, but not sure how much that contributes to rpi.

Oh, and fau is at 172 RPI. That’s pretty low.

I will be happy to take the series. This is the toughest weekend since GS so it should be fun. Our relief pitching is getting iffy so I am worried about getting pushed around like GS did.

The more teams in the NCAA tournament, the better it is for the conference. Georgia Southern is in, Texas State is about 97% in, Coastal Carolina is about 85% in, Louisiana is about 50-50. So it's probably better for the conference if the Cajuns win the series.
