FINALLY! Coach K was right, NCAA sports severely need a Czar, not a liberal arts PHD like Emmert or his predecessor Miles Brand who actually was worse than Mark. The optics of having an academician heading your athletic organization were absolutely obliterated by their feckless leadership. Kind of like Bill Shelton at EMU.

Hire a guy from the NFL please and give him a vision for the future.

After the Ukraines defeat the Russians, I'd hire the Sec. of Defense, Lloyd Austin.

He impresses me as a very, very strong leader. Austin and Emmert are like 180 degrees of each other. If Emmert is weak, Austin is strong.

the president is paid to make decision, navigate choppy waters, etc. etc. and that didn't happen under Emmert.

The NCAA is basically rudderless and does not execute its core mission well.

Too many cheating ($) scandals for recruits which had not brought just punishment.

When I get home I'll start posting. Emmett is getting roasted in the press.

One writer suggest Robert Gates, fmr. Sec of Defense and I think a NCAA board member.
