Even catching up on The Eagle Hour this weekend, on Friday's show Coach Denson and the crew was saying while it's been nice it's miserable knowing that we have this nice rank and the winning streak and don't want to lose until that last out in the 9th.

Denson does sit on the NCAA board, and he said that he's comfortable that USM will host a regional as long as the wheels don't fall off. The closer we get to 40 the better.

The win over UAB was Berry's 469th win as USM HC, moving him into #1 in wins by a USM Baseball coach. I actually wonder if the the pressure of that, plus the streak, didn't feed into our two losses? Anyway, hopefully he'll hit Win 500 next season :)

Whatever one helps determine the regionals.. I might've misunderstood too, he maybe a former member.. My kid was in the truck with me and singing a little bit while listening,

No, he's not on any type of board, that's done by active ADs. He may have done some of that while at Belhaven.

He has ran regionals for years. He used to run every regional in Starkville for Ron Polk until he started making regionals at USM.
