Repurposing seating can be such a tricky deal. Maybe the old seats were too worn to reuse, or their size just didn’t fit in a new location? Or perhaps the Bobcat administration has something even better in the works? So far I’d give your AD high marks for efforts to improve FB facilities in San Marcos. Better marks anyway than the hiring of Everett Withers, but as a JMU fan we were very happy you took him off our payroll! 03-lmfao

I look forward to visiting your impressive stadium in the coming years! 04-cheers

That’s what I was thinking/hoping for that next year they replace the top deck as well with seat backs. And then maybe on both sides.
Those were some really bad years at a really pivotal time in the growth of our football program. I’m really hoping Spavital finally figures it out this year.

Absolutely is always great to see. Ready to host y’all in it again. Fun fact, the one time Southern Miss has placed at Texas State was our 5th highest attendance so far. All others ahead of it are other Texas programs (UH, Ttech, UTSA) or Navy… y’all actually beat out Baylor who is our 6th highest but I’m going to chalk that one up to post Covid season.

That is beautiful. I love how well it seems to blend with your current stadium architecture.

"Lifted by the support so far from numerous donors, construction will begin on the End Zone Complex in June. The fundraising campaign to fully support the project is still ongoing."

So one wonders where they will start.

The seats on the terrace don't face the field?

glad I wasn't the only one that thought that was weird. Overall, very cool design and great addition. Just thought the layout on the top section was a little off.

If it's anything like the party area that is currently there then it will more of a social than game viewing area.

Starting to see stuff like this at more stadiums. The Houston Dynamo added some sort of table area. The seats face the field batter than this but sell for a higher price and sellout fast. People want different stadium experiences than they used to. Not like we sellout games often so it's not like more seats were needed. Adds a variety.

The seats that don’t face the stadium are for the the boosters eye candy to sit in those chairs so they have something to look at in between plays
