Franky can we get a scoreboard update from the YMCA in Huntington?

When is your next game at FEMA Field?

I just asked for a scoreboard update. But congrats on mocking the death of a child.

What was a child doing at the old JC Love Field at FEMA Park during a tornado?

Don’t clown Marshall with a YMCA comment when y’all used to play in a glorified rec facility…seriously.

Dude they literally play at a YMCA facility. Like it’s literally a YMCA.

Also JC Love Field had lights and was owned by Louisiana Tech. So no, not really comparable.

Bro: don’t you know the rules??? The laturd people can brag endlessly about the new facilities they got, and would *never* have gotten otherwise, because of *our* fed tax dollars, but if you point out how it’s rightfully known as fema park, they then go all butt-sore about ‘but someone died’ in that storm.

Like always, these scum want it all ways, as long as it’s their way, and only their way. No ethics, no sense of pride.

But I guess I was wrong in the first place to congrat one of our new ‘deadweight’ conf mates on a win agaisnt the next CWS champs, lol.

BTW, I am just shocked, I tell you SHOCKED, that a high and mighty CICU person was trolling our board to see my post in the first place. I thought they were waaay too much better than that.

I have a very curious question, just from following College Baseball over the years.

Would Tech have bothered to renovate their baseball stadium had it not been destroyed in a Tornado?

It had just been renovated for the last CUSA tournament. It was not a bad stadium at all. They renovated the new pressbox and locker rooms and had new turf and a new scoreboard. Love was not the best but was by far not the worst. And yes I think calling something FEMA park is in very bad taste. People died. Tech didn’t work the system.

That you need to bring up "how someone died" in every conversation indicates more a sick testament to your abhorrent mindset and your Cajun derangement syndrome. If you really think that anyone on any of these sports forums takes any enjoyment on anyone's death is not a good representation of the louisiana tech brand.

You really are a small-minded person.

Then stop referring it to FEMA park. I am sure no one gained any great thrill out of getting a new baseball park at the expense of a tragedy. It is not me my friend who is sick. It’s in bad taste. While we love our new ballpark I am sure we would gladly keep the old one to bring back the lives of those lost. It really just goes to show the depths that ULL fans will go to bash Tech. Do better

The answer to that is HELL to the no.

But it was not just a new baseball park: they milked us all dry for a new softball and T & F complex. None of which would have ever been seen the light of day without our tax $$$$$$ funding the whole thing.

What their own school/fans/town never supported, the feds did.

And that’s the facts Jack.

I get your point. But people, some of which who lost everything during the storm, jokingly called a high school that was built as a result of Katrina FEMA High. Heck they even adopted the mascot the Hurricanes and Miami colors.

It’s a tragedy, but you can separate the tragic with the material loss (aka different elements of it) and be nuanced without getting offended/upset.

So let me get this straight. You mock Louisiana Tech, I respond asking for a scoreboard update from the actual facility the game is being played at. You follow with tons of insults….

And I’m the bad guy?

You and your issues with Louisiana Tech need to be addressed by a psychiatrist. It isn’t healthy. It’s 18 year olds playing a childrens game. Nobody here is scum. It isn’t that serious.

I congratulated our conf mate on their win. You mocked a team of this conference for their facilities, but get upset when others point out the ONLY reason you have yours is because fema ponied up the bucks for it.

Guess Marshall should hope for a storm, so that they can keep with ruston.

Now. Go away.

I can’t control what everyone says and does but I can control myself and so can you. Just remember there is sports but we are all as one otherwise. I am from Abbeville. There is more that unites me with you than divides us
