It brings me great sadness to say this, but former WM Walk on Joshua Owusu ‘20, was killed yesterday.

His death is ruled a homicide.

Another really tragic death, Dwayne Haskins killed this morning, after being struck by a vehicle, in Florida.

Memorial services have been announced.

A memorial for the WM campus is set for Tuesday, April 12th at Zable Stadium at 8PM.

A viewing and receiving of condolences for the family is set for Wednesday, April 13th and the Parklawn-Wood Funeral home in Hampton, VA from 12-3PM.

The funeral service is set for Thursday, April 14th at 11AM. It is at the Liberty Live Church in Hampton, VA. A viewing is available from 9:00-10:30 AM.

The funeral service will be streamed online.

Nice article about Joshua in Wednesday's Virginia Gazette. He was a chemistry Major at W&M and had been working as a Science teacher at a private Christian school in Hampton. He did a lot of charitable work and was an all-around good guy and upstanding citizen.
