Yes what in the world is going on with our softball program?

Interesting and a quick check of the Tweeters. There is no Alana Collins nor Braeden Henson, nor Abby Messer, nor Debbie Stout nor Grace Hayes listed on the team roster.

No Braeden Henson found with a google search of Braeden Henson and ETSU. Same for Debbie Stout.
A google search of Alana Collins and ETSU finds that she was a sophomore player on last years team.
Abigail Messer is listed in an article from 2018 about Deans List. May not be same person.
There is no google Information for Grace Hayes and ETSU, although there is someone by that name in a news article related to signing with Bridgewater.

That is as far as I am going into those who posted replies.
Might be true, might not. I have no idea nor insight.

Does anyone know what some of the specific issues are? We know the women's basketball coach was let go as well as the softball coach. Also, the men's soccer coach was mysteriously let go. "Mental health" is not well defined and I do not know exactly what is going on. Are issues being raised against the current(new) softball coach? Could this be a new coach with new methods and new standards of doing things or is there something else? Is there any inside information to be had?

Wow. So most of the issues are aimed at the current softball coach? And the others against former coaches?

Seems odd that coach was at her former job for 17 years and all of a sudden...

I would hope that if the rest of the team corroborated what these 2 players were saying on social media, that something would’ve been done by now. The fact that nothing has happened makes me think this was a lot of smoke but no fire.

Thanks. Let us hope that is all there is to it. It does make sense that if there were more to it we would have heard something by now.

The team has a dismal record, but they have played some good out-of-conference schools close and looking at their record there are 10 one-run losses, not a lot of blow outs. They seem to lack offense more than anything.

Is there anything new about our softball program? Did they discover that it was disgruntled former players or is there something deeper to worry about?

Looks like the softball coach has been let go. Guess there was something going on...
