So the Apple telecast tonight was a joke pretty much except for 1 thing, that all broadcasts need to have ASAP.....

Apple actually had a retired umpire ready to go in case of a rules question. I thought that was extremely good.

The Astros-Angels telecast is good. Hunter Pence could have a much bigger job in baseball broadcasting if he wants it.

So during the Nats rain delay they went to that game for like 2 batters. It seemed like that might be the case.

Just saw one with the O's Rays game. Lefty batter up. Ball hit to the right side and couldn't be played by the shift due to where the ball was placed. One where if they were playing normally it would have been an out actually.

Not sure how often it happens.

I'm sure it's happened before, but I'd never seen the catcher throw over the head of the 3B after a strikeout until last night's game. Reds C Tyler Stephenson had a brainfart moment that I'll never forget. Hilarious!

Cubs are sayin' they may want to be involved in the NL Central race this season. Hammerin' the Brew Crew 9-0 in 8th after winning the opener against MIL. Don't they have to wait about 95 more years or so?

Brewers 1-2 punch has looked absolutely awful so far in Burnes and Woodruff.

some day of pitching-

So thru 4 days, had 98 games started. Half of those starters lasted fewer than 5 innings pitched.
Pitches- only 34 guys have thrown at least 80 pitches in a start so far. Only 5 90+ with high of 96.

Feels like guys have probably about 1 more start where we're normal with starting pitchers. At least what is normal in 2022 MLB.
