Pulling hard for Murray State
Fellow OVC members need to be pulling hard for Murray State no matter how you feel about them leaving the conference. They have already earned one extra NCAA unit and can earn another tonight.

I found the following on the internet-

Each 2022 unit is worth $338,887 paid to the conference of the participating school. Each unit has a six-year shelf life, meaning one unit this season is worth $2,033,322 overall. Those payouts are split evenly among the conference's schools.

So the OVC will earn 2 million extra dollars, over the next 6 years, but that will double that if Murray wins their next game (i.e. 4 million dollars). Divide that between 10 teams (just a guess of the number of teams the OVC will end up with) and that's 400,000 dollars for each of our athletic departments. Chump change for P5 programs, but a nice haul for schools like ours (i.e. Little Rock) and I assume most other OVC schools.
